Comforted.
Well, I was pondering all night about what to write about, nothing was coming to me, I thought I had writers block, then the phone rang...
It was my uncle from Alberta calling to tell us that His wife just went into labor. :)
That put a smile on my face and of course gave me something to talk about.
We just prayed for her, and I just want to keep praying for this future kids life. This kid will move mountains, I can see it :) I am excited. It makes me think about how everything is already planned out, you know what is incredible, is that God already knows who this kids spouse is going to be, and how many children they are going to have. That makes me grin, and smile, and I don`t know, I am overtaken from this love, and clarity, and it feels so comforting to know that when i was born 17 years ago God knew what I would be doing right now, it is okay, everything is perfect, and the closer we are to Him, and closer we are connected to Him the better we are able to see into what He has planned.
I am content, and smiling, and excited, and comforted. So pray, pray for this childs future life, a life of anointing, of incredible clarity with God, a wonderful connection to be able to hear and see His perfect pleasing will.
Tomorrow I am headed to Drama Festival, so there will be no blogs for two days... so keep praying! haha Take the next two days, and if you were going to read this blog, go be by yourself with God, let me know what happens.
I want to leave you with some incredible lyrics, check this out, My soul sings by Delirious. ---
Open my eyes to see
The wonderful mystery of love
Falling into you
I'm drawn to the gravity of love
We're standing still in a moment of eternity
Where worlds collide and I feel the breath of heaven over me
My soul sings
How I love you
Open the page and see
The wonderful history of love
I start and end with you
I'm pulled to the gravity of love
Time to pack,

Fig Tree
I want to use a story my Pastor spoke about this Sunday morning.
Jesus spoke of a fig tree, which was in a vineyard. Doesn't make sense right? It doesn't fit in. This is like us in this world. We are christians, surrounded by people who sometimes do not understand us, and we stand out, sometime for the good, or the bad. It depends on whether or not we are effective. This fig tree, didn't bear fruit, therefore it stood out in the vineyard as a "fig tree" which didn't produce any good, and people saw this. It was cursed, this is the only thing that Jesus cursed while being on earth. That is powerful. This defective tree, that Jesus cursed, could very well be "christians" who produce no good. Following?
Now, let's turn the tables, we can be fig trees that bloom with a product that the vineyard has never seen. The vineyard is used to their patterns, and their small views of things, yet when we are strong and mighty and prodcue great fruit they cannot help but be drawn in and love what they see. Make more sense? I like this metaphor a whole lot, and I'm not sure why. Jesus makes it so clear, check this out...
Galations 5:22-23 ----
But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
I don't know about you, but when I see that I grin, big time. It is basically everything I want myself to be. Affectionate, excited, peaceful, ambitious and comitted, passionate, loving, and capable of blessing people. Life will be easy, everything is taken care of, perfectly.
Mmmmm. Sounds Good.

BIG.
God's love is meteoric,
his loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
his verdicts oceanic.
Yet in his largeness
nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
slips through the cracks.
Hey Guys! Out of no where today, well actually this morning, I came across these two verses, I don't know what I love so much about it, I think it is the use of words. Also, it describes one of my favourite things about God, simplicity, in the midst of the worlds complexity. Or maybe you could say that the other way around, God's complexity in the midst of the worlds simplicity. Hmm, now there is a thought. He is so big, and I hate the word big, but I have to use it.... He is so big, with an incredibly gigantic Heart. Astornomic, titanic, oceanic, large! The verse says it all, but nothing, NOTHING is overlooked, or not imporant. I feel like this is an elementary Sunday school lesson, but check it out, this is the real deal.
I dare you, go be alone with God, and ask Him to show you how much He loves you. Like, not just to tell you, " I love you so much that I gave my only Son." Yes, that is important, but to really show you, He has so much He wants to give you and show you, so ask for it. It's there.

Faithfulness
Saturday on Sunday
A friend of mine sent me this a few nights ago and I totally feel the need to share. Check it out.
"So, I was reading this thing my mom wrote the other day about Hannah, Samuel's mother. It was talking about how Hannah prayed and cried out to God about this passion she had in her life, to have a son. She had no idea that her passion would end up being one of the major prophets, and an incredible messenger for God, it was just a passion that God have given her, a son.... Think of all the passion God has given you for worship, and for doing His will. What if that passion ends up blessing God's people as much as Samuel did? God gives us desires on purpose, because He has plans for them in the future. Don't give up on that desire, Colton, just keep going after it. It's going to be good -smile- and I can't wait to see it."
A-HA! This is the point I have been trying to make for a long time, but I don't seem to ever have the right words, I think that sums it up very well! Sometimes we dismiss these desires on our hearts, little do we know that they may be there for specific God given reason. Search it out, test it. See if it is from God, and then run with it! Keep running, and keep expanding the passion that He has called your heart to own.
Pray for me, I have lots to do, :) God Bless

Colton does relationships... Part 1.
I am excited. Pray that my parents have an incredible trip, they are very deserving, and I don't think they realize how much I appreciate all that they have gone through with me over the past year.
So, tonight I went to youth group again! Yes! It's been so long, and I love those kids. There was one point in the night when they were throwing knives, doing handstands on the church roof, jumping off the church roof, and well... let's leave it at that. However, by the end of the night we had a really good talk about relationships, purity, what schools are teaching, and what they think a relationship is. Haha, once again I feel the need to point out that I love these kids. I am excited, this is going to be the topic over the next few weeks at youth, and it is something that everyone can get something out of, whether you are a teenager, or an adult already married.
So, my idea of a perfect relationship... technically, it wasn't my idea at all. The following verses are talking about perfect love, the love of Jesus, but let's put that in the perspective of a human relationship. Tonight the question was asked what do you think of when you hear the word relationship, some people thought friends, some people thought spouse, and some people thought boyfriend or girlfriend.
1 Corinthians 13 ---
(We all "know" it, but let's really read into it. Italics are my thoughts.)
Love never gives up.
I feel like this is for people who are already with who they feel God has called them to be with, it is simply put, love doesn't give up. When you love someone You will not give up on them.
Love cares more for others than for self.
This is speaking of the kind of love that Jesus displayed for us. He loved us more than himself. In order to be true disciples of God we have to do the same. And if you want a perfect relationship, one that will grow and blossom in God, this is key.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Okay, there are some different ways to look at this. I am going to go with this thought, the basic "cheating" issue. When you are in love with someone you will not want to have to do with anyone else, although that is common sense. I guess they were obligated to throw that in there, after all these are the directions to the PERFECT relationship.
Love doesn't strut,
True love doesn't go around saying "Ohhh, I am in love, I have this hot new girlfriend, check it out! I am so cool, I am in love, yah da yah da yah da."
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Read above.
Doesn't force itself on others,
If you love someone you will wait, you will not force them to have feelings for you. You will be loving, and show love by being kind and patient, and praying.
Isn't always "me first,"
Self explanitory? When you love you put the person you are loving before you. A way fo displaying your affection for them.
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Patience is key my friends!
Doesn't keep score of the sins of others,
Patience, along with forgiveness is key. Sometimes this takes time, but in a relationship trust is key, demonstrate the forgivness God has shown you. If your "lover" has done something not so cool recently do try to one up them, you are better than that. be the example, show the true love.
Doesn't revel when others grovel,
Shower optimism and joy on people when the grovel.
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
If you love, truly love, you will do this. In a healthy way!
Trusts God always,
!!!!!!!
Always looks for the best,
Once more, optimism anyone?
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.
Love never dies.
I believe the last three go very well together. Never looks back, keeps going, never dies. Love is forever, and that is how you know you have true love.
For me this is a check list. When you think you are doing a good job of loving those around you, whether it be family, friends, or a significant other, refer back to this verse. Check and see what you are missing, what you are doing well with. God says "Trust steadily, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love." That goes for any kind of relationship. It is THE KEY! So pray, pray to love, to show love, to find love, to see love. Perfect love.
After youth we watched a dvd, and my sould feels heavy, not sure why. Hmm.

Yes, you love me.
Hey Folks! I am having a great night, morning started off rocky, I did not want to wake up, I wanted to just lay in bed and read. I didn't get my way, I rushed off to school in a buzz, and you know what, it wasn't horrible... well, let's not go there. However, tonight, amazing! Out of nowhere I have all this free time, and it feels good. I was just playing some music, when I felt the need to go read. I came across the following verses, it was exactly what was on my mind, like a massive revelation. Right before I read this I was having conversations with a few people about the future, yet again, wondering what was going to happen this summer, after High school, etc. So, before I blabber on more and ruin it, check this out...
Luke 12:25-34 (The Message)
25-28"Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? If fussing can't even do that, why fuss at all? Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don't fuss with their appearance—but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?
29-32"What I'm trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don't be afraid of missing out. You're my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.
33-34"Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can't go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It's obvious, isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.
-Pretend you and Jesus are sitting in Starbucks, and he's saying these words to you.
-Now pretend that you've come home and you're going over in your mind what Jesus said to you. What phrases draw you the most? What is Jesus trying to say directly to you? In order to do what Jesus said, what are you going to have to really trust for? - That He'll "do his best for you." - That by giving instead of getting, you'll still have everything you need. - That "God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions" are really enough. How do you feel about this? Respond to God about truly trusting Him for these practical, important matters. Be honest about what you are, and are not, and what you're ready to do. Sit quietly before God. Receive from him the idea that he is your treasure: "the place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being."
When I read that my mind was blown, it was like God slapped me across the face.. or it was more like "a tickle". Which ever way you look at it, it was so good. "Don't be afraid of missing out" Man, I said that tonight too, it's like I can't wait to do all these things in my life, and some times I get so pumped up for them that I start to worry that they won't happen, or I want to do it all, and I get discouraged because it might not happen. That is so foolish. I don't think I can say what I mean perfectly, so let me leave you with this song, read the words and then go listen to it. It is perfect.
Your love is Strong - Jon Foreman
Heavenly Father, you always amaze me
Let your kingdom come in my world and in my life
Give me the food I need to live through today
And forgive me as I forgive the people that wrong me
Lead me far from temptation
Deliver me from the evil one
I look out the window the birds are composing
Not a note is out of tune or out of place
I walk to the meadow and stare at the flowers
Better dressed than any girl on her wedding day
So why do I worry?
Why do I freak out?
God knows what I need
You know what I need
Your love is
Your love is
Your love is strong
Your love is
Your love is
Your love is strong
Your love is
Your love is
Your love is strong
The kingdom of the heavens is now advancing
Invade my heart, invade this broken town
The kingdom of the Heavens is buried treasure
Would you sell yourself to buy the one you've found?
Two things you told me
That you are strong
And you love me
Yes, you love me
Our God in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Above all names
Your kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us weary sinners
Keep us far away from our vices
And deliver us from these prisons

Your Love Never fails.
God doesn't come and go. God lasts.
He's Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.
Even if I ran away
Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes, but
You have new mercy for me everyday
Your love never fails
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There may be pain in the night
But joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don’t have to be afraid
Because I know that you love me
And your love never fails
The wind is strong and the water’s deep, but
I’m not alone here in these open seas
Cause your love never fails
The chasm was far too wide
I never thought I’d reach the other side
But your love never fails
You make all things, work together for my good

I place all my hope in you.
the brighter the day
the fiercer the fight
the stronger the faith
so I place my hope in You
The deeper sin
the stronger the blood
the more to forgive
the more reason to love
so I place my trust in You
In Your ways oh God
redemption is so much better than perfection
in Your ways oh God
redemption is so much better than perfection
in Your ways oh God
Over and over
You prove You're so faithful
over and over
You prove Yourself a redeemer
In Your ways I have
redemption
so much better than perfection
so I place all my hope in You
40Jesus said to him, "Simon, I have something to tell you."
"Oh? Tell me."
41-42"Two men were in debt to a banker. One owed five hundred silver pieces, the other fifty. Neither of them could pay up, and so the banker canceled both debts. Which of the two would be more grateful?"
43-47Simon answered, "I suppose the one who was forgiven the most."
"That's right," said Jesus. Then turning to the woman, but speaking to Simon, he said, "Do you see this woman? I came to your home; you provided no water for my feet, but she rained tears on my feet and dried them with her hair. You gave me no greeting, but from the time I arrived she hasn't quit kissing my feet. You provided nothing for freshening up, but she has soothed my feet with perfume. Impressive, isn't it? She was forgiven many, many sins, and so she is very, very grateful. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal."
Read - Read the passage slowly, noticing the major players and actions in the story.
Think - (I love this part) Choose one person in the story with whom you identify most, and then read the story again. Imaginatively enter the scene, experiencing everything from that person's perspective. Hear the conversations. Feel the silence in the room as Jesus' feet are tenderly washed. Now listen to Jesus' voice and watch his face as he speaks. What do you feel? What thoughts go through your head?
Pray - Talk to Jesus about what this experience has stirred up in you.
Live - "If human love does not carry a man beyond himself, it is not love. If love is always discreet, always wise, always sensible and calculating, never carried beyond itself, it is not love at all. It may be affection, it may be warmth of feeling, but it has not the true nature of love in it." - Oswald Chambers. Think about the degree of restraint or abandon you show in your relationship with Jesus (and others). Consider the conscious decisions you are constantly making about the way you'll act in that relationship. When does emotional momentum stir you? What do you do when it does? Under what circumstances do you set limits or hold back? What expectations or fears underlie your decisions? Share these with Jesus. What is something you could do today that would have "the true nature of love in it"?

Joy
Tuesday, April 13, 2010
"I will pour out my Spirit
on every kind of people:
Your sons will prophesy,
also your daughters;
Your young men will see visions,
your old men dream dreams.
When the time comes,
I'll pour out my Spirit
On those who serve me, men and women both,
and they'll prophesy.
I'll set wonders in the sky above
and signs on the earth below,
Blood and fire and billowing smoke,
the sun turning black and the moon blood-red,
Before the Day of the Lord arrives,
the Day tremendous and marvelous;
And whoever calls out for help
to me, God, will be saved."
43-45Everyone around was in awe—all those wonders and signs done through the apostles! And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person's need was met. They followed a daily discipline of worship in the Temple followed by meals at home, every meal a celebration, exuberant and joyful, as they praised God. People in general liked what they saw. Every day their number grew as God added those who were saved.
Eyes are glazing over,

Acts: Day 1, Chapter 1.
6When they were together for the last time they asked, "Master, are you going to restore the kingdom to Israel now? Is this the time?"
7-8He told them, "You don't get to know the time. Timing is the Father's business. What you'll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world."

Joy never ending.
Well, I had an awesome day today, one of those, drive with the window down, drink iced tea with sunglasses on, be totally consumed with the love of God, be surrounded by people you love, and have FUN! Mm, His joy is my strength, My strength is the joy that I get from Him, and nothing can take that away, I find myself getting closer and closer to Him, and finding my soul being happier and happier with life, and also realizing more and more about what is going to happen in my life.
I am scared that this is going to be a lame post, however I was told today to share some of the stuff that I found in the book of Acts that I really liked, so here are some verses that I have highlighted (see what I did there) haha, I am a comedian! Anywho, it's another one of those tired nights, prepare for an entire week of them, wee hoo. Without further wait, here is some ACTS.
"Whereve they were scattered, they preached the message about Jesus. Many who could neither stand nor walk were healed that day. The evil spirits protested loudly as they were sent on their way. And what joy in the city!" - Acts 8
Haha, another one of my favorite parts is in Romans 13. Basically Jesus first disciples went from city to city until they were no longer welcome, or until God wanted them to leave, and then they went to the next town and continued to show signs and wonders, these men were incredible! So in this specific story, it says that paul and Baranbus were brutally kicked out of a city, and they simply "shrugged their shoulders and went on to the next town, brimming with joy and the Holy Spirit, two happy disciples." I don't know about you, but I want to be like that. Woo, I think this is why I lve the book of Acts so much. Complete joy, maybe it has something to do with the fact that Jesus is alive, and He is right now! We have the exact same reason to be that happy, what is stopping you from jumping up right now and just laughing yourself to complete peace with your personal lover? If there is something, it is definetely fixable on Gods behalf.
In the next city that they went to, Paul was beaten to almost dead and dragged out of town... get this, when he awoke from his "beating" he got back up and went back into the city witha smile on his face. (Acts 14) I feel that a blog bible study of the book of Acts is going to occur soon because I am rambling, and I KNOW that this book deserves so much more.
Who's up for it???? ME, me, pick me!
Okay, so it looks like you are up for it!
I will do my best. :)
Sleep tight my friends? Or I am guessing when you read this you will be waking up, in that case, smile, smile until your cheeks hurt! then massage them and smile more!
I love you,
Colton

CHEESY
I am not overly tired(well maybe I just don't know it yet), but it's one of those, "all is well" feelings.
I am sitting trying to think about what to blog about.
Hmm.
Well, today was a great day, I spent it with incredible people, doing things that I love, it doesn't get much better than that. Are you ever in a moment of complete "goodness" where you feel like you can sit, and just close your eyes, and things are well. That was today, it was well.
I can't wait for tomorrow, because I know it is a brand new day, and instead of thinking about how it may night be as awesome as today, I can thiknk about how it can be better, and what God can do it tomorrow. A good friend once told me that tomorrow is only a day away. This is true, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you are not even here yet, but I am pumped.
Haha, and right now I am ashamed at how corny that paragraph was and I am slowly realizing how tired I am, but hey, it was a good day, great people, great food (although I didn't have any ribs), and a whole lot of Jesus.
God, I pray that TOMORROW will be even more blessed, Your love makes me sing, I pray that all your goodness will shine through in everything that goes on tomorrow, everything I am involved in. Meet me there, everywhere tomorrow.
Oh this reminds me of something I read this morning, it was talking about how when we go to talk to God we are always using the entire time to tell God how much we love Him. It's like a kid running up to there dad being like I love you I love you I love you!!!! and then running away before the dad even gets to say Hi. We do that with god sometimes, so I encourage you to go to your dad, show Him how much you love Him and then get ready for His response. Hahaha, it will be tremendous!
Please ignore my puncutation,
Colton!

It's a beautiful day.
Look at all the good around you, if you stop for a minute. Stop. Breathe for a minute, and look. There is so much of it, you are incredibly blessed, and talented and incredibly beautiful. You are loved, constantly. Constantly. It's a beautiful day, don't let it slip away. There is gold inside of you, God put it there, so make today's goal that you will constantly be refining that gold to the purest it can be, let it radiate out of you. You are a force to be reckoned with. Smile.
I was just reading Banning's book, "Jesus Culture", something hit me that I want to talk about, all set?
If Jesus is pursuing us and knocking on our door, then our responsibility is to open it when He knocks. Revelation 3:20 says, "If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." We must position ourselves in such a way that when He knowcks, we open the door. His voice must be louder than all other voices in our lives. There can be no competition to the knock of Jesus. In fact, the more we encounter His love for us, the less anything else in our lives will have the strength to compare.
Wether it is your daily devotional time or throughout your busy day, the issue is this: Will you turn your attention and affection to Him? As important as having a daily time with God is, it's not the ultimate goal. The objective is to have the affections of your heart pointed in His direction no matter what is going on.
"The moment you look up and are in a place of affection with Jesus the Heavens are opened."
I think the main reason, for myself, of spending certain parts of scheduled day with God is to PREPARE me for the day, and to get me on track for the entire day ahead, where I keep my entire attention and affection on Him. It shouldn't just start and stop during morning prayer time, or evening reading time, it is constant, it is a "lifestyle", not a "10 minute of your day-style." My favorite parts of my day are when out of nowhere I just feel overwhlemed with God's presence, like driving somewhere, or in the middle of lunch break, or rehearsal, when all I can do is smile.
Smile!
It's a beautiful day!
Don't let it get away.

Your love fulfills my every need.
In the darkness, in the night, when I'm starving for the light, I know I can trust in Your love.
You keep no records of my sin.
You don't remember all my shame.
Your love is everything to me.
Hey there my friends!
Well, I am in Fredericton for the weekend, staying at my aunts house, and I am excited. I don't knwo what sparked this thought, but does it ever accur to you that your day can extremely well, or extremely awful, according to simple decisions you make in a day? Once, again, I'm not sure where this is coming from, but I am just speaking my mind. I guess what's on my heart is that when you think You're having a bad day, or maybe the day is young, and you have already screwed up and you think that you ruined your day. Well folks, that's a lie. God keeps no records of my sin, and He doesn't remember any of my shame.
Which triggers another thought, sometimes I think we feel like we have a bad "history" with something. The thing is, that is straight up bologna. All things are made new, and I feel so thankful for that right now! So thankful! We can go back to those places that were once cites of extreme disaster, as a new person, a person with a new light, and a faith that cannot be touched by our old shame. That is proof of how much we have grown in Christ.
I am at peace, and so pumped by God's COMPLETE faithfulness!
Here is some of Psalms 27, mixed and matched Colton style:
God holds me head and shoulders above all who try to pull me down. Already I am singing God-songs. I'm making music to God! Haha,You've always been right there for me. You've always kept the door open. Point me down your highway God, direct me along a well-lighted street. Take heart. Don't quit.

Let me try again.
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
This is Jesus speaking, by the way, and I think when i first wrote about this the blog entry was titled "The ultimate invite." I think you can figure out why, just read it. Basically, in an even simpler form, Jesus is saying, "Come on, let's be friends, I have so much I want to talk about with you, you are awesome, and I promise to be the best friend You have ever had."
Think: Notice all the different ways Jesus is saying, "hang out with me." He says it quite a few ways, which way do you find it most inviting? What would it feel like to walk with Jesus and work with Him? It's okay to be honest; "freely and lightly" may not describe what you think it would really be like. You may think it would be forced and difficult. If so, what would you desire it to be like? Have you feared that a walk with Jesus might require heavy or ill-fitting things? Why?
Live: Walk with Jesus, either in your mind or on an actual walk. As you do, turn these words from Jesus over in your mind: rest, unforced, keep company with me, freely, lightly.
I guess that's it. The difference, between Christianity and Religion... One thing is a real beneficial friendship, the other is rules, and tradition, that people, especially teenagers do not find appealing.

Religion vs. Spirituality.
16-18Whenever, though, they turn to face God as Moses did, God removes the veil and there they are—face-to-face! They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We're free of it! All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.
Okay this word, for me, is really the break between religion and real-ness! When people stop faking, and actually let themselves see who God is, and how it is so much more then stain-glassed windows and wine in a glass on Sundays. Personal Question... What the heck is a first communion anyway? I feel like when we actually try with full hearts, that "veil" is destroyed, God is there waiting with open arms. He is constantly reaching out to us, will we stop long enough to reach out to Him? This goes for people who are already "Christians." I think this is the break between Sunday morning "christians" and people who want to be with God. I can't say it much better than those verses. Re-read them. Ask God to show Himself to You, Haha... I guarantee You are in for a treat.
Did any of that make sense? Haha... I'm scared I sound like an old hag,

Moving Ahead
You have brought me to
Such a freedom I have found in You.
You're the healer
Who makes all things new
Yeah yeah
I'm not going back
I'm moving ahead
Here to declare to you
My past is over in You
All things are made new
Surrendered my life to Christ
I'm moving moving forward
You have risen
With all power in Your hands
You have given me
A second chance
Hallelujah hallelujah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm not going back
I'm moving ahead
I'm here to declare to you
My past is over in you
All things are made new
Surrendered my life to Christ
I'm moving, moving forward
You make all things new
Yes
You make all things new
And I will follow You
Forward

Happy Day!
4-8They were puzzled, wondering what to make of this. Then, out of nowhere it seemed, two men, light cascading over them, stood there. The women were awestruck and bowed down in worship. The men said, "Why are you looking for the Living One in a cemetery? He is not here, but raised up. Remember how he told you when you were still back in Galilee that he had to be handed over to sinners, be killed on a cross, and in three days rise up?" Then they remembered Jesus' words.
Mark 16:4-7 ----
4-5Then they looked up, saw that it had been rolled back—it was a huge stone—and walked right in. They saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed all in white. They were completely taken aback, astonished.
6-7He said, "Don't be afraid. I know you're looking for Jesus the Nazarene, the One they nailed on the cross. He's been raised up; he's here no longer. You can see for yourselves that the place is empty. Now—on your way. Tell his disciples and Peter that he is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You'll see him there, exactly as he said."
Matthew 28:1-6 ----
1-4 After the Sabbath, as the first light of the new week dawned, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to keep vigil at the tomb. Suddenly the earth reeled and rocked under their feet as God's angel came down from heaven, came right up to where they were standing. He rolled back the stone and then sat on it. Shafts of lightning blazed from him. His garments shimmered snow-white. The guards at the tomb were scared to death. They were so frightened, they couldn't move. 5-6The angel spoke to the women: "There is nothing to fear here. I know you're looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was place 6-7He said, "Don't be afraid. I know you're looking for Jesus the Nazarene, the One they nailed on the cross. Sing it out Jesus is alive
The empty cross, The empty grave
Life eternal You have won the day
Shout it out Jesus is alive
He's alive
Oh happy day, happy day
You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day
I'll never be the same
Forever I am changed
When I stand, in that place
Free at last, meeting face to face
I am Yours Jesus You are mine
Endless joy, perfect peace
Earthly pain finally will cease
Celebrate Jesus is alive
He's alive
Oh happy day, happy day
You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day
I'll never be the same OHH NO
Forever I am changed
Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious way
That You have saved me
Oh what a glorious day
What a glorious name
YEAH!
Oh happy day, happy day
You washed my sin away
Oh happy day, happy day
I'll never be the same
Forever I am changed
What a glorious glorious day,
I'll never be the same.
