Bucket of Thoughts on a Tuesday.

Hi Folks!

I was at a voice lesson tonight, and I was just out of shape with singing, I couldn't hit a note in a song that I usually can and I gave up. My teacher had none of that, she said to me, there is no such thing as giving up, as going back, as not advancing.

I was taken back... "huh?"

She made it clear, that everything we do is a learning experience, I know that I can't hit the note using the method that I did, which was really unhealthy, now I know that first hand and I won't do it again. I learned something.

I thought about that for a while... and am still thinking about that. You know, God does the same thing, we think we've made huge mistakes, not even close. We learned from what we've done, and God uses what we think we've screwed up with, to help us, or bless people in a way that we don't think is possible.

Ponder on that, ask God to give you clarity.

Another thought on my mind today, beauty, feeling special. Today was rough, I was feeling under the weather, and am still exhausted, every time I thought I was getting somewhere I realized that I was doing it the wrong way. I did not feel special, or even close to being important, I saw people around me all day with these amazing abilities to be kind, patient, talented, and I examined myself harshly.

I was reading this evening a little bit and it hit me, we all have God inside of us. Straight up, and there is a beauty in Him that lives in us. We are special, He chose us, I'm not sure how, but my mind related those thoughts into this...

John 17: 20-23 & 26 --- (This is Jesus praying for us)

I'm praying not only for them
But also for those who will believe in me
Because of them and their witness about me.
The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—
Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
So they might be one heart and mind with us.
Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me.
The same glory you gave me, I gave them,
So they'll be as unified and together as we are—
I in them and you in me.
Then they'll be mature in this oneness,
And give the godless world evidence
That you've sent me and loved them
In the same way you've loved me

I have made your very being known to them—
Who you are and what you do—
And continue to make it known,
So that your love for me
Might be in them
Exactly as I am in them.

Take those for what you will.

Pray Jesus' prayer for his followers today in the world. Walk around today with the sense that Jesus is in, and that this was always His plan - to be in You.
