Day 7 - Enjoy the Silence

John 13:1-5 ----

1It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.a]" style=" line-height: 0.5em; ">[a]

2The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus. 3Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; 4so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. 5After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

John 13:23 ---

23One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him.

Hello my friends! How are you doing deep down, be honest, you are allowed to have a rough day, or a fantastic day. Share how you feel. So, check out Day 7's scripture. Read it.. Picture yourself present at The Last Supper. The meal is over, Jesus is relaxing. Content. Can you feel the love? He has spent three challenging, powerful years, growing, and loving with His disciples. Yet He knows that there is so much more to come, picture how this scene must of looked like, felt like...

Now, Jesus asks you to join Him. How do you feel? Excited? Terrified? Nervous? Satisfied? Safe, or vulnerable... or perhaps both? Sink in deep with this. What are you emotions? Take time to really figure it out. Now, Jesus invites you to lay your head on His chest, you are listening to the very heart beat of God. What do you hear?

Take some time in the silence.

Journal. At first I was scared, not ready, then I realized, this is what I want. I don't have to worry about trying to impress Jesus.

Pray about everything, and for everything, there isn't one thing or person in this world who can't use it.
